postcard

Image
Up above we have the front and back of my postcard I created on InDesign. For the front of my postcard, I chose to use a picture of a car I always dreamed of having. growing up I always wanted a yellow sports car. I used simple tools in InDesign to create this postcard.  On the back of the postcard, I chose to use my tag brush as the stamp in the corner of the postcard. I thought it would be cool to have the car faded in the background. I used the car and my tag brush to represent me and who I am as a person.

Business Card

Image
For my business cards, I used Indesign to create fun and unique-looking cards. In design helped me add different features and designs to my business cards. I wanted to use colors and designs that represent me and who I am. My logo is posted on each card to show that I created it using my techniques. My logo represents who created the cards and is a symbol of me as a person.  I created designs that made the business cards unique and eye-catching. The colors I added were colors i  love and use all the time in my artwork. I created three different cards each with a different design, colors, and fonts. For each design, I used almost all the same tools.

Tutorial 1: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=O8bOWQy6bu0 I find it interesting how easy it was to put together a full description of the platform in a twelve-minute video.  like how the video went through each step that went into using InDesign. One tool I thought was very easy to use was the page tool. The page tool allows you to edit the size of your page and add multiple pages to your document. A tool that seemed like it would be difficult to use was the Pathfinder panel. This tool contains many tools for combining and manipulating shapes.   Tutorial 2: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wF_fu1wcT0Y in this tutorial, I liked how the video takes you through every step of how to use the tools, layers, and formatting. The selection tool is one of the easiest tools to use for selecting and moving objects on the page. Another easy tool is the text tool which allows you to create and edit texts, by clicking and dragging to create the text box. I think that the data merge tool will be hard at

(The blogger would not let me upload any of the photos for this assignment, it said failed to upload everything I tried.)   1. https://www.instagram.com/p/BbFKpUyDDYE/?utm_source=ig_web_copy_link&igshid=MzRlODBiNWFlZA== (photo/screenshot  will not upload to blogger)   I think this picture of Kirby sitting in a diner behind Kendall Jenner will be hard to photoshop myself into. I think it will be hard to make it look like I'm sitting behind her holding juice. I think it would be hard to make it look like I belong in the photo and was not edited.  2.  https://www.instagram.com/p/CXq49eWtnSJ/?utm_source=ig_web_copy_link&igshid=MzRlODBiNWFlZA== (photo/screenshot  will not upload to blogger)  This picture inspired me to use Spiderman for my somewhere project because I loved the movie growing up and I think it is funny. I think it will be fun to use for this project on Photoshop.  3.  (The picture won't upload)  This picture of the dad's pants edited over his body making h

B/W to color

Image
For different color versions of the B/W to color project I chose to use a picture of my dog. I was inspired to use my dog for this project as somewhere I would visually express connection. I would be able to express connection visually around the world and other people through my dog.    To start my project I opened Photoshop with the picture of my dog and made the photo black and white. I used the selection tool on each different version to select different parts of the photo. For each selected part I made a different color. I chose to use double split, complementary, and square.

Tag Brush

Image
For my tag brush, I started off by using a black-and-white image of my logo. My logo represents who I am because of my initials. In the black-and-white image, I started by using the pen tool to outline my logo. Then once it was outlined I added the spray, scratches, and negative files to the logo in Photoshop. Once everything was put together I was able to make it into a tag brush.  I used my tag brush to create another image of my logo on a new file in Photoshop. The tag brush also allowed me to put 3 logos with different colors on top of each other which you see above. I chose red and blue because they are my two favorite colors. The tag brush being placed on top of each other gives a cool visual effect.

Video 1: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=61mkx_OV61s To start off the move and selection tools are going to be used the most and are very simple tools. The quick selection tool can be used to mask out things like people or trees. The brush tool is a very easy tool to use to add color or take things out of your selection. The crop tool will be used to crop your image. I was surprised how the YouTuber explained every step from opening the app to finishing a project.   Video 2: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pFyOznL9UvA The healing brush tool is an easy tool to use that helps cover up any imperfections. The lasso tool captures selections that don’t fit with rectangular or oval selections or represent a clear object. The elliptical marquee tool is used to create selections that have circular shapes, I need to know when to use this tool. The magnetic lasso tool snaps to object edges automatically which is easy once you know how to use it. I was surprised by how similar some tools are but h
