postcard

        Up above we have the front and back of my postcard I created on InDesign. For the front of my postcard, I chose to use a picture of a car I always dreamed of having. growing up I always wanted a yellow sports car. I used simple tools in InDesign to create this postcard. 

On the back of the postcard, I chose to use my tag brush as the stamp in the corner of the postcard. I thought it would be cool to have the car faded in the background. I used the car and my tag brush to represent me and who I am as a person.

Ai HW 1

  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3NBKRywEbNs   In this 10-minute Adobe Illustrator video I find it very interesting that when you hover the mouse over a tool it shows a small video of the purpose of the tool. It is very helpful how the tutorial explains what each panel around the workspace is for. I think the rectangle tool will be easy for me to use help to create different shapes. With the rectangle tool, you click and drag to create a shape of the size and proportion you want. You can use Alt and Shift to move or lock the location and size of the shape.  The pen tool will be more difficult to get the hang of because it’s hard to learn.
