I find it interesting how easy it was to put together a full description of the platform in a twelve-minute video.  like how the video went through each step that went into using InDesign. One tool I thought was very easy to use was the page tool. The page tool allows you to edit the size of your page and add multiple pages to your document. A tool that seemed like it would be difficult to use was the Pathfinder panel. This tool contains many tools for combining and manipulating shapes.

in this tutorial, I liked how the video takes you through every step of how to use the tools, layers, and formatting. The selection tool is one of the easiest tools to use for selecting and moving objects on the page. Another easy tool is the text tool which allows you to create and edit texts, by clicking and dragging to create the text box. I think that the data merge tool will be hard at first to use because I am not familiar with data spreadsheets and databases. This tool is used to merge data from the spreadsheet or database to InDesign.

I found it interesting how this video helps you learn about the basic tools of InDesign. One tool I found easy to use was the gradient swatch tool. This tool is in the swatch panel and allows you to add gradients to objects. One tool that seemed difficult to use was the table tool. This tool provides more complex table formatting and is good for large datasets.

       The Internet and the World Wide Web also known as the Web are very similar but also different which is important to understand. Most people use these terms interchangeably believing they are the same. The WWW is one of the key services offered by the Internet.   https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3NBKRywEbNs   In this 10-minute Adobe Illustrator video I find it very interesting that when you hover the mouse over a tool it shows a small video of the purpose of the tool. It is very helpful how the tutorial explains what each panel around the workspace is for. I think the rectangle tool will be easy for me to use help to create different shapes. With the rectangle tool, you click and drag to create a shape of the size and proportion you want. You can use Alt and Shift to move or lock the location and size of the shape.  The pen tool will be more difficult to get the hang of because it’s hard to learn.
