In this 10-minute Adobe Illustrator video I find it very interesting that when you hover the mouse over a tool it shows a small video of the purpose of the tool. It is very helpful how the tutorial explains what each panel around the workspace is for. I think the rectangle tool will be easy for me to use help to create different shapes. With the rectangle tool, you click and drag to create a shape of the size and proportion you want. You can use Alt and Shift to move or lock the location and size of the shape.  The pen tool will be more difficult to get the hang of because it’s hard to learn. The pen tool helps create shapes with freeform curves.

In this tutorial, I found it very interesting to see how the pen tool allows you to bend your shapes in any direction or any degree, which is good for custom shapes. It will be easy to use the layout tool and change to color of my shapes. The magic wand tool will also be easy because it automatically selects an object. The variety of typing tools allows you to type the words along with shapes or other designs. (Vertical type tool, area type tool, and path type tool) None of the tools presented in this tutorial were difficult to learn.

            This tutorial video is very long and helpful for beginners. In this tutorial, I found it most interesting watching the YouTuber create a full duck out of shapes using different tools. The align panel was used and it allows alignment, distribution, and pacing of objects or paths. The alignment panel is easy to use after some time working with it. The layers panel will be the most difficult to navigate due to the variety of tools that I have to learn how they work and what they do. The layer panel is on the right side of the screen. The offset path tool will be easy for me to use to add paths and expand a shaft by offsetting the path from the original path.
